In mid-June, my local photo club made a late afternoon outing to the Willet Farms sunflower fields in Snook, Texas, a well known and photographed location for the beeautiful sunflower crops that are normally in full bloom in the first half of June. There was an abundance of flowers in full bloom, so the primary challenge was in finding the blooms that were facing the right direction to catch the afternoon sunlight, and composing a nice composition among the dense blooms. The photos below show some of my favorite images from the outing.
